About us

Hasler Training Associates (HTA) has grown from an informal network of trainers and consultants established by Jill Hasler in the 1990s to a limited company with a number of committed Associates and several specialist consultants who provide advice and support our work. Most of the organisations we currently work with are in the social housing sector, but we have worked with colleges, charities and voluntary organisations outside of the housing world.

• Researching and developing ASB training and development plan for Eastend Homes
• Support planning training for Gateway Housing Association scheme managers

What I do and where I have been

• I am a trainer and consultant with nearly 30 years experience in the housing sector who has created a successful training company using excellent networking and team building skills.
• One of my main strengths is team work, enabling everyone I work with or for to develop their own and the organisation’s capacity to grow and develop.
• Before working as a consultant I held newly created management positions with both local authorities and housing associations.
• Developed strategic management approaches, sheltered housing and communication skills training.
• I have worked with housing staff at all levels, front line staff, senior management teams and voluntary committees and boards.
• I have served on many committees including The Elfrida Society (which I chaired for three years), Enfield Homes Board and the HR & People Development Committee. I have also worked with various funding organisations including the Area Health Authority, Education & Social Services departments and charitable sources.
• I am an Affiliate of the Chartered Institute of Housing and a Member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
